Our class was tasked with creating a magazine based on an episode of the This American Life radio program.
We were asked to choose an episode, transcribe it, and turn it into a magazine as to be broken up into three
different interviews with people who told stories about how things make more sense when you are older.
Course: Type Plus with Kindra Murphy
To create a cohesive design, a typographic system and grid was developed to organize the complex information taken from the radio transcript. This helped ensure that the magazine had a clear hierarchy and that all the details, both in imagery choice and type, were fine-tuned.
